Announcing Our New Identity: The Belize Book Sector Network

We are delighted to share an exciting milestone in our organisation’s journey. The Belize Book Industry Association (BBIA) has officially rebranded as the Belize Book Sector Network (BBSN), complete with a fresh new logo and a renewed commitment to strengthening Belize’s literary and publishing landscape.

Although our name has changed, our mission remains exactly the same. The BBSN continues to support writers, publishers, illustrators, booksellers, editors, librarians, and all who contribute to the creation, distribution, and celebration of books in Belize.

So why the new name?

The change reflects what we have been building all along: a dynamic, interconnected network of people and organisations who together make up Belize’s book sector. The term network captures the essence of our work—bringing professionals and enthusiasts together, encouraging collaboration, supporting emerging talent, and amplifying Belizean stories at home and abroad. It also highlights our vision of a thriving, cohesive community where every member of the book ecosystem can grow and be supported.

Our new logo represents this unity, creativity, and forward momentum. It signals a fresh chapter for the organisation as we continue to expand opportunities, advocate for the industry, promote Belizean literature, and cultivate a culture of reading across the nation.

We look forward to this next stage of our evolution and to all the possibilities it brings. Thank you for being part of our story, and for helping to build a vibrant future for the book sector in Belize.

Welcome to the Belize Book Sector Network.
